Big Hollow Friend Ranch Thunderegg

This is one of the first thundereggs I ever acquired. At the time I had no idea where it was from, but it is a remarkable stone, having a huge and dramatically shaped cavity lined with a thin layer of pillowy agate. Now, I am almost certain it is a Friend Ranch specimen - and that opinion is backed up by others. The matrix seems very characteristic. However, inside it is a very untypical Friend Ranch specimen - I have never seen another even close to this!
